The SST Exhaust Flap / Valve Control for the Audi S3 Type 8Y (from 2020) is a premium plug-and-play control unit designed to give you full command over your vehicle’s exhaust sound. Developed and manufactured in Germany, this advanced system allows you to manually open or close your exhaust flaps at any time—perfect for enhancing the driving experience and tailoring the sound to your preference.
Fully compatible with both OEM and aftermarket sports exhaust systems, this controller enhances the sound experience of your S3, providing a noticeable performance tone in Sport Mode or a quieter, refined operation in Comfort Mode.

The SST control unit also offers a flap retraining function, allowing recalibration of mechanical stop points — useful after exhaust flap replacement or modification to ensure correct operation in custom exhaust systems.
Optional Upgrade – DELUXE Control:
Upgrade to the DELUXE version to add integrated flap diagnostics, which continuously monitor the exhaust flaps for malfunctions (e.g., jammed, sluggish, or incomplete movement) and report any detected issue directly to the vehicle’s system.
