Fitment & Maintenance Information
A secure and precise fit is vital for maximum protection. This X-Small model is part of a 6-size range (XS–XXL) utilizing two dedicated shell sizes to optimize weight and profile. Following Snell Foundation guidelines, it is recommended to replace your racing helmet every five (5) years from the date of manufacture, as internal protective materials can lose effectiveness over time.
To maintain the shell’s integrity and the Copper finish, clean only with a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemical solvents or waxes, as these can damage the impact-absorbing EPS liner or compromise the specialized metallic finish. Always store your SD1 in a dry, protected helmet bag between events to keep it in peak racing condition.
