Engineered specifically for the 2.0L TSI engines (CCTA, CBFA), this premium FMIC system offers a true bolt-on installation with no cutting or trimming of the metal bumper or bumper cover required.
This high-efficiency intercooler kit features a bar-and-plate core design with cast aluminum end tanks, offering significantly improved thermal efficiency and airflow over restrictive factory-style intercoolers. OEM-style intercoolers are mounted between the A/C condenser and radiator, limiting airflow and increasing heat soak. In contrast, the Neuspeed FMIC is mounted at the very front, directly exposed to fresh, unrestricted airflow for superior cooling.
The Neuspeed FMIC fills the entire lower grille area with a thick, high-capacity core, delivering lower intake temperatures and consistent performance under spirited driving or track conditions. Combined with the optional Neuspeed Factory Intercooler Delete Kit, Discharge Pipe, and Air Charge Pipe, this kit becomes the foundation for the ultimate forced-induction cooling setup.
