Unlike OEM-style intercoolers mounted between the A/C condenser and radiator, the Neuspeed FMIC sits directly at the front of the vehicle, exposed to unobstructed airflow. Its bar-and-plate core design with cast aluminum end tanks ensures exceptional heat dissipation and structural durability. This smart placement and construction eliminate the heat soak issues found in stock systems, especially during spirited driving or track use.
The twice-thick core fills the lower grille opening, channeling maximum ambient air through the intercooler for optimal charge cooling. Neuspeed includes all necessary mounting hardware, silicone hoses, billet hose adapter, and constant tension clamps for a true bolt-on installation—with no trimming or cutting required.
When combined with the optional Factory Intercooler Delete Kit (FID #48.10.96), Discharge Pipe, and Air Charge Pipe, this FMIC becomes part of a complete, high-performance forced induction cooling system.
