The MAD BMW F87 M2C S55 Single Midpipe Resonated With Brace (MAD-143) is engineered to enhance and refine the exhaust character of the S55 engine while reducing rasp and smoothing out the tone. Designed by MAD (Mastery of Art and Design), this system replaces the restrictive factory dual midpipe with a streamlined single-pipe layout that delivers a deeper, cleaner, and more controlled exhaust note without excessive volume.
The resonated design incorporates a built-in resonator that reduces drone and harsh frequencies, making it an ideal setup for daily-driven M2 Competition models or vehicles equipped with aftermarket downpipes and axle-back systems. The result is a more aggressive tone with a polished and refined sound profile.
Each system includes an upgraded custom brace to maintain correct chassis clearance and ensure factory-level fitment. Installation is simple, requiring only two cuts on the OEM exhaust system along with the included clamps. This midpipe offers a balanced combination of sound enhancement, smoothness, and drivability.
