Description
The Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe Kit for the E-Chassis N55 engine replaces the weak factory plastic or rubber diverter valve pipe with a durable, high-flow aluminum upgrade. Designed for 2011–2012 BMW 135i, 335i and 2013–2015 BMW X1 xDrive35i, this kit improves throttle response, reduces turbo lag, and eliminates the risk of OEM pipe failure under boost.
Constructed from lightweight 6061 aluminum with mandrel-bent smooth bends, the 3" piping matches the factory throttle body for maximum airflow. The precision CNC-machined throttle body flange replicates the factory o-ring locking design for a leak-free, secure, and quick connection—superior to silicone hose connections used by competitors. A CNC-machined MAP sensor flange ensures proper sealing to prevent boost leaks.
Beaded pipe ends and T-bolt clamps prevent piping from coming off under high boost. Optional Type III Hard Black Anodizing adds a stealth OEM appearance while increasing durability against dents and damage.
The kit includes two 1/8" NPT bungs (pre-capped) for methanol or nitrous injection or as vacuum/boost ports. Complete installation hardware is provided. This kit is fully compatible with the factory electronic diverter valve.
