The EBC Redstuff Front Brake Pads (DP32522C) are a premium low-dust ceramic brake pad developed by EBC Brakes for modern BMW performance vehicles and the Toyota GR Supra. Engineered for fast street driving, Redstuff delivers strong stopping power, smooth engagement, and significantly reduced brake dust while maintaining OEM-level refinement.
EBC Redstuff pads are manufactured using a high-friction ceramic compound reinforced with aramid fibers, providing stable braking performance across a wide temperature range without the noise, harshness, or excessive dust associated with traditional semi-metallic pads. This compound is completely steel-free, reducing brake dust by up to 60–90 percent and keeping wheels noticeably cleaner.
From cold, Redstuff provides confident initial bite comparable to or better than factory pads, and braking performance continues to improve as temperatures increase. With a stable friction coefficient ranging from approximately 0.44 to 0.50, these pads deliver smooth modulation, predictable pedal feel, and excellent resistance to fade during repeated braking.
The pads are factory-scorched and feature EBC Brake-In surface coating, which accelerates rotor conditioning and shortens the bedding-in process. As a hard-wearing compound, full bedding can take up to 1,000 miles, and proper break-in is essential to achieve optimal braking performance and pad longevity.
