Description
The AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust for PSE-equipped Porsche 991 Carrera and Carrera 4 is engineered to enhance the performance and acoustics of the 3.4L engine, while keeping the refined drivability and sophistication expected from Porsche. The exhaust features SwitchPath™ technology, providing seamless transitions between Track Edition and Touring Edition modes. The system intelligently adjusts exhaust flow based on throttle input and commands from your Porsche’s ECU.
When under aggressive throttle, the SwitchPath™ valve opens, bypassing side mufflers for a bold, aggressive sound akin to a Cup Car. In Touring mode, the valve closes, rerouting exhaust gases through the side mufflers, maintaining a refined tone that's only slightly louder than stock. The entire system retains Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE) controls and was developed to be PDK-friendly.
Completing the package are the Chrome Silver Tips, which are 90mm in diameter, angle-cut, and double-walled to resist heat discoloration. These tips are made from T304 stainless steel and feature a beveled edge with the AWE logo for a clean, sophisticated appearance.
