The APR Performance GTC-300 Carbon Fiber Adjustable Wing for the 2013-2016 Audi S3 is a high-performance aerodynamic component designed to enhance stability, cornering, and braking on both track and street applications. Engineered for efficient downforce generation with minimal drag, the GTC-300 allows drivers to tune their vehicle’s aerodynamics for maximum performance under varying conditions.
The airfoil profile is precision-engineered using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to generate high downforce while minimizing drag. Its cambered design maximizes airflow attachment across the upper and lower surfaces, reducing flow separation even at high speeds.
The wing’s fully adjustable angle of attack ranges from 0° to 15°, letting drivers optimize downforce and drag according to track conditions and driving style. Higher angles improve rear tire load and cornering grip, while lower angles reduce drag for improved straight-line speed.
Constructed from pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber, the wing offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Autoclave-cured in aluminum billet molds, it ensures high durability, resistance to stress, and consistent aerodynamic performance. Angle-adjustable risers made from aircraft-grade 6061 billet aluminum allow precise wing height and position adjustments for optimal airflow and downforce management.
For enhanced aerodynamic efficiency, an optional pre-preg carbon fiber Gurney Flap can be installed using 3M VHB double-sided tape to further increase downforce and reduce flow separation. Compact yet performance-oriented, the GTC-300 integrates seamlessly on mid-to-large performance vehicles, making it ideal for track builds, time attack cars, and high-performance street applications.
