The upgraded APR filter unit, featuring low-restriction cotton gauze media, flows 8% more than the stock filter while maintaining excellent air quality. The airbox outlets are 52% larger, and the turbo inlets are 93% larger, significantly reducing pressure drop by 50% compared to the OEM system.
These enhancements result in a more responsive throttle, reduced turbo strain, and increased efficiency, translating to substantial power gains. On the Stage 1 (93) APR RS6, the intake system delivered an additional 47 AWHP and 38 AWFT-LBS of torque to all four wheels, as measured on our calibrated chassis dynos.
