The Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System with Pro GUARD7 Filter is engineered to deliver a balance of improved performance and maximum engine protection for the 2021–2024 Ford Bronco 2.3L EcoBoost. Designed for demanding street and off-road environments, this intake system combines dyno-proven power gains with industry-leading filtration efficiency.
Dyno testing confirms gains of up to +8 horsepower and +12 lb-ft of torque, improving throttle response and overall drivability. With a measured airflow of 280 CFM at 7" H₂O, the Momentum GT intake outflows the factory system by 24%, allowing cooler, cleaner air to reach the engine under all driving conditions.
At the core of the system is a large, seven-layer Pro GUARD7 performance air filter, engineered for severe-duty applications. This 360-degree radial flow filter features five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media combined with two layers of synthetic filtration, delivering an impressive 99.7% cumulative filtration efficiency (US PAT 06811588). The pre-oiled Pro GUARD7 media provides maximum engine protection in dusty, dirty environments while still supporting high airflow. Its inverted filter top increases usable surface area, extending service intervals and maintaining consistent performance.
The intake utilizes a one-piece sealed housing constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) to reduce heat soak and shield incoming air from engine bay temperatures. The patented filter-to-housing interface minimizes the number of components for a cleaner design and simplified installation. A large clear sight window allows quick visual inspection of the filter without disassembly, and the housing retains the factory air inlet scoop for optimized airflow.
A computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube, manufactured from durable XLPE material, ensures maximum airflow while maintaining precise OEM-style fitment. Premium stainless-steel clamps and a high-quality silicone coupling provide a secure, leak-free seal for long-term reliability.
