This Pro DRY S filter uses three layers of progressive, oil-free synthetic media, making it aFe’s easiest performance filter to maintain. The dry media design eliminates the need for oiling while still providing strong dust-holding capacity and consistent airflow, making it ideal for daily driving, towing, and work-truck applications.
Included is a washable foam pre-filter, which captures large debris before it reaches the main filter element. This added layer significantly increases dust-holding capacity and filter longevity, especially for trucks operating in dusty or dirty environments, without negatively affecting airflow.
A deep, rounded open-pleat design maximizes usable filter surface area, while the progressive urethane bump seal ensures a tight, leak-free seal against the factory airbox. The washable foam pre-filter captures large particles before they reach the main filter, extending service intervals and protecting engine components in harsh conditions. Easily removable via the integrated ABS retainer, the foam pre-filter can be tapped clean between services or washed alongside the main filter.
