High heat is one of the leading causes of wear and failure in BMW Dual Clutch Transmissions (DCT), especially in high-performance or tuned applications where fluid temperatures can rise quickly. The Burger Motorsports Billet Aluminum DCT Oil Pan is engineered to combat these issues by greatly improving cooling efficiency, structural durability, and long-term reliability.
Unlike the factory plastic transmission pan, the BMS upgrade is CNC-machined in the USA from a solid block of lightweight 6061 billet aluminum. The precision-machined construction, combined with deep cooling fins and your choice of standard or high-capacity configurations, ensures optimal temperature control and improved clutch performance under demanding street or track conditions.
The Standard Capacity version maintains the OEM fluid volume but significantly enhances heat dissipation with 40 integrated cooling fins. For maximum thermal control, the High Capacity version increases fluid volume by approximately 1 1/8 quarts—doubling the capacity of the factory pan for dramatically improved cooling stability.
Note: Some vehicle models may require trimming or removal of the transmission undertray when installing the high-capacity version.
Every kit includes a new rubber pan gasket and suction filter, ensuring a clean, secure, leak-free installation. Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications, this upgrade is ideal for both performance and reliability-focused builds.
