Featuring a taller 2.65:1 gear ratio, this precision-engineered upgrade helps maintain your C63’s powerband during aggressive acceleration, quarter-mile racing, and roll races – especially beneficial for vehicles with larger turbochargers or increased power output.
The 2.65:1 ratio offers a significant advantage over the OEM 2.82:1 (sedan) and 3.06:1 (coupe) final drive ratios by improving traction and power delivery in the upper RPM range. This translates to improved 60–130 mph and 100–200 km/h performance metrics, helping you achieve record-breaking results on track or street.
Engineered to be a direct bolt-in replacement for your factory differential gear set, the PTG ring and pinion set is fully compatible with the factory housing and integrates seamlessly with PTG’s Wavetrac Differential Kit (PN 013-1522-1775). Custom gear ratios are also available upon request to fine-tune your AMG’s power delivery for street driving, circuit racing, or daily use.
