Description
The Burger Tuning JB4 for the Kia Stinger and Genesis G70 3.3L Turbo is a plug-and-play performance tuner engineered to deliver gains of up to 100hp and 100tq at the wheels on a completely stock vehicle. It connects directly to easily accessible sensors in the engine bay and works alongside the factory ECU to optimize boost, timing, and fueling. This reduces turbo lag while significantly improving overall engine performance.
Unlike basic performance chips, the JB4 utilizes a fully programmable CANbus system with firmware upgrade capability and advanced data logging. By reading pedal input, throttle position, gear, RPM, air/fuel ratios, fuel trims, ignition timing, knock activity, and more, the JB4 adjusts performance mapping precisely in real time. Built-in safety features monitor oil temperature, coolant temperature, lean conditions, boost levels, and knock—automatically reducing power if needed to protect the engine.
The default Map 1 adds approximately 4psi over stock boost, while additional maps—including stock mode and valet mode—can be changed on the fly using a diagnostics cable or JB4PRO wireless adapter. Installation is discrete and the unit can be removed without leaving a trace. Maps are included for 91 octane, 93 octane, and E85 mixtures. Normal driving fuel economy remains unchanged, and the tuner is fully compatible with all drive modes.
It is widely known that Kia and Genesis 3.3L Turbo engines can experience spark blowout at both stock and tuned boost levels. Spark plugs with more than 25,000 miles are recommended for replacement when increasing boost.
The JB4PRO smartphone adapter allows wireless connection to the JB4 using iOS or Android. The free JB4PRO app provides map control, data recording, firmware updates, log analysis, and a refined interface designed for easy use and high reliability.
