Track Rod Relocation Bracket & Adjustable Track Rod
The S&B track rod relocation bracket is designed to correct the frame-side track rod geometry on trucks lifted between 2.5" and 5.5" when paired with the adjustable track rod. The bracket is constructed from 3/8" thick steel for maximum strength and finished in a durable black powder coat for corrosion resistance. Extensive testing and multiple design revisions ensure optimal ride quality and durability.
The adjustable track rod allows precise axle centering while installed on the vehicle. It features OEM Ford components, including a factory ball joint on the axle side and an OEM rubber bushing on the frame side. These components provide excellent vibration isolation, long service life, and easy replacement using readily available factory parts.
Radius Arm Drop Brackets
S&B radius arm drop brackets are engineered to correct suspension geometry on 3.5"–5.5" lifted trucks. Each bracket uses five mounting points to securely attach to the frame and includes a crossmember for additional rigidity. This design provides unmatched strength and stability compared to traditional drop brackets.
Billet Radius Arms
The billet radius arms are CNC-machined from 6061 billet aluminum to deliver exceptional strength while reducing overall weight. Their angled design improves tire clearance compared to factory arms. Limit Strap Kit
The 12" limit strap kit is required for shock packages where extended shock length could allow the coil spring to become loose at full droop. The straps mount to the billet radius arms and a frame-mounted bracket. Installation does not require welding and includes hardware designed for boxed frames.
Sway Bar Relocation Kit
S&B sway bar relocation brackets and extended end links are required for front lifts exceeding 2.5". These brackets allow front-to-rear sway bar adjustment to improve tire clearance at full steering lock while maintaining factory sway bar performance, payload capacity, and handling characteristics.
Steady Track Steering System
The Steady Track system includes an ATS adjustable steering stabilizer, mounting brackets, and a replacement OEM Ford pitman arm. The stabilizer mounts directly to the pitman arm, providing superior control and eliminating bump steer. The system replaces the factory pitman arm with a flat OEM-style unit to create necessary clearance. The S&B 3.5–5.5" Lift Kit for the 2017–2022 Ford F-450 Super Duty is a premium suspension system designed for owners who want maximum lift height, improved ride quality, and superior towing performance. This fully loaded kit includes every major component S&B manufactures to properly lift and correct suspension geometry on the F-450 platform.
This system allows front lift height adjustability from 3.5 inches up to 5.5 inches using included lift coil springs and adjustable coil levelers. At the same time, the suspension geometry is corrected using billet radius arms, heavy-duty radius arm drop brackets, an adjustable track rod, and a reinforced track rod relocation bracket. The result is improved handling, reduced bump steer, and excellent on-road stability even with oversized tires.
The kit also includes a dual steering stabilizer system to reduce steering feedback and improve control, especially when towing or driving on rough terrain. Optional traction control bars, rear lift blocks, U-bolts, and shock packages allow you to further tailor the setup for heavy towing, off-road use, or daily driving comfort.

Component Details
Track Rod Bracket and Adjustable Track Rod
The S&B track rod relocation bracket is constructed from 3/8-inch steel and powder coated for corrosion resistance. It corrects the frame-side track bar mounting position for 2.5 to 5.5 inch lifts. Extensive testing went into perfecting the geometry for optimal ride quality. The adjustable track rod allows on-vehicle adjustment using S&B’s max adjuster system. OEM Ford ball joints and bushings are used for long service life and excellent vibration isolation.
Radius Arm Drops
The radius arm drop brackets correct suspension geometry for 3.5 to 5.5 inch lifts and feature four frame attachment points per bracket. They mount both forward and rearward on the frame and include a crossmember tying both brackets together for added rigidity and strength.
Billet Radius Arms
Machined from billet 6061 aluminum, these radius arms offer superior strength while reducing weight. The angled design improves tire clearance, and adjustable caster cam bolts allow precise alignment correction. Integrated tabs are included for the limit strap system.
Limit Strap Kit
The 12-inch limit strap kit prevents coil springs from becoming loose with longer shock setups. It bolts directly to the billet radius arms and frame using a pull-through mounting system and does not require welding.
Sway Bar Relocation Kit
Designed for lifts over 2.5 inches, this kit repositions the sway bar front-to-rear for improved tire clearance at full steering lock. New longer end links are included, maintaining factory sway bar performance and payload capacity.
Dual Steering Stabilizer Kit
This heavy-duty dual stabilizer system mounts two FOX IFP stabilizers using a rigid 1/4-inch steel axle bracket secured by 5/8-inch U-bolts. Billet aluminum clamps attach the stabilizers to the tie rod, minimizing deflection and maximizing steering control.
Coil Springs and Adjustable Levelers
Adjustable levelers provide up to 2.5 inches of height adjustment. Included coil springs provide 3.5 inches of lift on non-Tremor trucks and 2.5 inches on Tremor trucks, allowing total front lift adjustment between 3.5 and 5.5 inches.
Upgraded Bump Stops
The bump stop drop lowers the factory bump stop by 2.5 inches to maintain proper suspension travel. Shorter options are available for reduced lift configurations.
Torxz Traction Control Bars
These bars control axle wrap during acceleration and braking, reducing wheel hop and maintaining consistent pinion angle. Urethane bushings on both axle and frame sides allow full suspension travel without shock loading the frame.
Lift Blocks
Billet steel rear lift blocks are available in 7/8-inch and 1-7/8-inch heights and include a 2.5-degree angle to correct pinion angle on F-450 trucks. Designed to install under the factory block, they are extremely strong and built specifically for heavy-duty use.
U-Bolts
U-bolt length depends on lift block selection and must be measured prior to ordering. All longer U-bolts feature 3/4-inch threads and may require drilling the factory bottom plate slightly.
Shock Packages
Two shock options are available. FOX 2.0-inch Steady Valve IFP shocks are valved in-house by S&B for balanced performance. FOX 2.5-inch Performance Elite shocks offer high- and low-speed compression adjustment for maximum control and performance.
