Modern Mercedes-AMG models equipped with the 9G-Tronic 9-speed transmission feature a CPC (Powertrain Control Module), which manages torque output and multiple key vehicle systems. When tuning the ECU, the CPC intervenes to limit power by reducing ignition timing and boost. Premier Tuning Group’s CPC Module Tune recalibrates these parameters to work seamlessly with the ECU, unlocking the full performance potential of your AMG.

In addition to torque control, the CPC also governs exhaust flap operation, vehicle speed limitation, intercooler pump flow, and the horsepower/torque display on the dash. PTG engineers provide a revised calibration that optimizes these functions, delivering more power, improved cooling, and enhanced reliability.
