The Baer Brakes 12" SS4 Rear Brake Kit (Part #4402000S) delivers a high-performance, direct-fit braking upgrade for your Jeep. This system is engineered for the rear axle of 2007–2017 Jeep Wrangler JK, 2018–2025 Jeep Wrangler JL, and 2020–2025 Jeep Gladiator JT, exclusively for vehicles equipped with the original equipment (OE) rear end.
This kit includes Baer’s S4 4-piston calipers, manufactured in Phoenix, AZ, from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum. These precision CNC-machined calipers are finished in silver powder coat for durability and style.
The included 12.4-inch rotor features a 1-piece design with slotted, drilled, and zinc-plated surfaces for optimal heat management and consistent braking performance. The calipers utilize hard anodized aluminum pistons, stainless steel abutments, and noise suppression clips, ensuring reliable, quiet operation.
A dual-sealing system provides D.O.T-compliant dust and weather protection, enhancing long-term durability in demanding driving conditions.
