The Baer Brakes 12" SS4 Rear Brake Kit (Part #4402000R) is a premium performance upgrade designed for Jeep owners who demand both stopping power and durability. This system is engineered to fit the rear axle of 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler JK, 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler JL, and 2020-2025 Jeep Gladiator JT—all with the OE rear end.
The SS4 system features Baer's proven S4 4-piston calipers, precision CNC machined from forged or billet aluminum and manufactured in Phoenix, Arizona. The calipers are finished in a durable red powder coat and come equipped with hard anodized aluminum pistons, stainless steel abutments, and noise suppression clips.
This kit includes 12.4-inch, 1-piece slotted, drilled, and zinc-plated rotors, offering excellent heat dissipation and brake performance in both on-road and off-road conditions. The dual-seal calipers provide D.O.T.-compliant dust and weather protection, ensuring long service life even in rugged environments.
