The Baer Brakes 12" SS4 Rear Brake Kit (Part #4402000B) is a high-performance rear brake upgrade system engineered for Jeep enthusiasts who demand maximum control and superior stopping power. Designed to fit the rear axle of 2007–2017 Jeep Wrangler JK, 2018–2025 Jeep Wrangler JL, and 2020–2025 Jeep Gladiator JT, this kit is specifically for models with OE rear ends.
This system features Baer’s S4 4-piston calipers, crafted from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum and CNC-machined at Baer’s Phoenix, AZ facility. Finished in a sleek black powder coat, these calipers combine both durability and visual appeal.
Included in the kit are 12.4-inch rotors with a 1-piece slotted, drilled, and zinc-plated design to deliver excellent heat dissipation and reliable performance under extreme conditions. The floating caliper design includes hard anodized aluminum pistons, stainless steel abutments, and noise suppression clips. Dual seals ensure D.O.T.-compliant dust and weather protection.
