Product Overview:
The Evolution Racewerks Sports Series Downpipe significantly enhances exhaust flow by replacing the restrictive factory catalytic converter. With a 200 cell metallic core, it allows for a higher flow rate compared to the factory’s 600 cell ceramic core, resulting in increased horsepower, improved throttle response, and reduced turbo lag. The downpipe’s design features a cast stainless steel inlet for a smooth transition and 4" mandrel bent piping to minimize exhaust flow restrictions.
Options:
- Ceramic Thermal Coating: Available in black, this coating keeps underhood temperatures lower and maintains high exhaust flow velocities. It withstands up to 2000°F and provides additional corrosion resistance.
- Additional O2 Sensor Bung: For easy installation of wideband O2 sensors. Comes with a pre-installed plug.
- Optional EGT Sensor Bung: For monitoring exhaust gas temperatures. Comes with a pre-installed plug.
