The Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipes for the BMW S55 engine deliver a major reliability and performance upgrade over the factory plastic charge pipes found on the M2 Competition, M3, and M4. The OEM units are known to crack under higher boost levels, especially on tuned vehicles. ER solves this problem with a fully engineered, high-strength aluminum charge pipe system designed for improved flow, faster turbo response, and maximum durability.

Constructed from lightweight 6061 mandrel-bent aluminum, these charge pipes maintain a smooth, round 2.25" diameter from the turbocharger outlet all the way to the intercooler. In contrast, the factory pipe quickly transitions from round to flat, creating turbulence and airflow restriction. By eliminating these bottlenecks, the ER piping enhances throttle response, reduces lag, and increases boost stability.

Each pipe features CNC-machined factory-style o-ring locking flanges for a secure, leak-free turbocharger connection. High-quality smooth-band clamps, beaded ends, and a silicone hump hose ensure reliable intercooler attachment under elevated boost pressure. The kit installs as a direct bolt-on replacement and includes all required hardware.

Evolution Racewerks also integrates two 1/8" NPT methanol/nitrous bungs (one per pipe) for easy installation of methanol injectors, nitrous nozzles, or boost reference fittings. Optional Aquamist-specific bungs are available as a custom order. For vehicles using larger aftermarket carbon fiber airboxes, ER also offers a charge pipe configuration engineered to clear those systems.
