Spool Performance is really excited to introduce our latest product offering to the B58 community, the Fx-150 high-pressure fuel pump upgrade. We have been testing this for almost a year now and here it is finally!!

What is the FX-150?

The FX-150 is an upgraded high-pressure fuel pump for the BMW B58 motor. The pump features a bigger bore size than stock that translates into roughly 50% more flow when compared to stock. The pump is completely E85 compatible and fully plug and play with no cutting or splicing of any kind required. The added flow will let you run much higher ethanol concentrations and also allow fueling for bigger turbos.

Flow Rates based on B58 stock CAM lift:

Stock B58 Pump - 0.954 cc per rev

FX-150 - 1.43 cc per rev

Why do you need it

The stock HPFP on B58 motor is severely limited in capacity when trying to tune and raise the output of the motor. The FX-150 adds 50% more flow to the equation, raising the fueling limits on the platform and helping you run bigger turbos and/or higher ethanol concentration blends.

Tune changes

Tune changes are required to use the FX-150 system. The changes are available with all major tuners and Spool performance will provide the necessary calibration changes needed for the same upon request.

Spool Performance kits have an average lead time of 1-2 weeks. Some order may take up to 3 weeks to be shipped. Cancellations within 3 weeks will be subject to a 25% restocking fee, and a 5% merchant fee.
