Poor oil pressure can end up being the death of an engine, particularly a high-performance one such as the one in your BMW. With age, oil pumps can wear out causing poor oil pressure. If you are experiencing oil pressure problems it could be due to a faulty oil pump.

Please note: This is the latest revision oil pump for the N55 engine. Earlier installed oil pumps are a known failure item. While BMW states a production date split on N55's built up to 3/20212 requires p/n 11417573747, this updated pump can be installed in place without modification. FCP Euro recommends installing this oil pump exclusively in place of 11417573747.
