We start with Bootmod3 (BM3) flash tune. The tune will increase boost, adjust timing, AFR and several other parameters to provide maximum HP increase while keeping stock reliability. Other BM3 features include on the fly burble tune, GTS roar, valve control and torque adjustment.
Adding power while keeping stock intercooler would be a waste of time as intake air temperature will rapidly increase which forces the ECU of your BMW to decrease power to protect your engine. Upgrading to the MAD stepped core intercooler ensures that temperature is always under control allowing your car to produce maximum power while keeping all the other components safe.
The extra boost added by your Bootmod3 will crack the OE plastic charge pipe and cause a boost leak. We replace the weak OE plastic charge pipe with the MAD aluminum charge pipe to ensure maximum reliability so you can push your car at anytime without having to worry about any boost leak.
Please note: bootmod3 will not work on your vehicle if your DME is locked. Order cancellations due to the vehicle's DME being locked will be subject to a 5% nonrefundable merchant fee.
Upgrade from the stock BMW N55 charge pipe to the MAD N55 charge pipe for maximum airflow and reliability!
The stock BMW N55 charge pipe is plastic and prone to failure. It's only a matter of time before the charge pipe to break. The MAD N55 charge pipe is a strong aluminum piece; it will provide better airflow and won't fail, and fits like stock.
The MAD charge pipe retains the BMW C-clip and O-ring for the best fitment. Do not forget to move them from the stock charge pipe to the MAD option.
The MAD charge pipe comes with two meth bungs; both bungs are sealed. If you do not intend to use methanol injection, keep them closed.
