These inlets feature an advanced dimpled inner surface, meticulously designed to minimize frictional losses between the airflow and the wall boundary. By creating a "cushion" of air at the wall surface, the inlets enable higher flow rates and reduced pressure loss. The result is enhanced turbo efficiency, reduced wastegate duty cycle, and ultimately, elevated overall performance.
Crafted to the highest standards, the Eventuri 4.0TFSI V8 intake system comprises components that serve a specific purpose. We utilize 100% pre-preg carbon fiber, eschewing fiberglass to achieve a smooth internal surface that maintains optimum airflow. The carbon fiber airbox lid, flow collector, thermoplastic turbo inlets, bespoke high-flow dry cone filters, custom flexible hoses, and CNC machined breather ports and reinforcement rings all work in harmony to deliver outstanding results.
To overcome the limitations of the stock airbox lid, we introduced a raised portion in the middle, creating additional space for a larger flow collector and filters. The prepreg carbon fiber lid utilizes the same mounting points as the stock lid, ensuring a seamless installation process.

- The first constraint we had to overcome in order to dramatically increase the overall volume of the intake was the airbox lid. The stock lid leaves a shallow opening for the flow collector and also restricts the filtration medium being used. By creating a raised portion in the middle of the lid we are able to create more space for a larger flow collector and also for larger filters. The lid is made from prepreg carbon fibre and uses the same mounting points as the stock lid.
Directing the airflow from the filters to the turbo inlets, the flow collector underwent significant enhancements. Freed from the constraints of the stock system, our flow collector boasts a dramatically increased volume. This not only allows for a larger flow collector but also enables the use of higher-flowing cone filters with a larger total surface area, optimizing filtration and airflow simultaneously.
The biggest hurdle in the stock system lies in the turbo inlets, which suffer from their small size and two flexible sections. To overcome these limitations, we removed the first flexible section, thereby increasing the internal volume. By expanding the inlet sizes, our intake empowers the turbos to draw in air with minimal restriction, resulting in quicker spooling and improved performance. The comparison photos clearly demonstrate the differences in sizes and the superiority of our design.
Taking innovation even further, we introduced a novel dimpled pattern to the inner surfaces of the inlets. After extensive research and development, we optimized the design to achieve a higher flow rate compared to a smooth surface. The advanced manufacturing technique employed in creating the inlets allowed for the precise application of the intricate dimples, which create an "air cushion" effect and reduce friction as the main body of air slips through the tube. This innovative feature results in a more even velocity profile and ultimately higher velocity, all while adhering to the same boundary conditions.
