Description
The CTS Turbo Gen3 TSI Electronic Wastegate Actuator Extension Harness is designed to make calibrating and troubleshooting wastegate voltage easier and more convenient. With this extension harness, you no longer need to install the turbo on the engine to check and adjust the wastegate voltage. Instead, you can set the wastegate voltage on your new turbo/actuator outside of the car before installing the turbo.
The process is simple. Connect the CTS Wastegate Actuator Extension Harness to the electrical connector on the vehicle and connect the other end to the turbo on your workbench. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine. You can now start up your computer and VCDS/OBD11 on the same workbench and calibrate/troubleshoot the wastegate voltage at your convenience.
This extension harness also makes troubleshooting wastegate operation easier. You can fix P2563, P00AF, and P0045 codes without the need to dive under the car to set the correct voltage.
