DESCRIPTION
Give your G8x M3/M4 more sound and power with our high-flow catted downpipe. Fabspeed Motorsport's engineering team consulted with HJS Motorsport and chose the largest HJS catalytic converter that would fit the G8x chassis. This guarantees the most exhaust flow, reliability, and sound. Our Sport Cat Downpipe will flow 93% of a 3'' straight pipe, all while providing emissions compliant performance and NO check engine light. There's no need to run cat bypass pipes!
SOUND:
Our Sport Cat Downpipe does an excellent job of subtly increasing the exhaust volume and deceleration pops and burbles, with no increase of unwanted interior drone. For a more aggressive exhaust note, add our Intermediate X-Pipe.
POWER:
On our in-house DynoJet, our high-flow Sport Cat Downpipe made max gains of 23 ft/lbs of TQ at 3,200 RPM and 20 WHP at 6,500 RPM. That’s 23 crank HP! Take a look at our dyno graph and you can see that power is gained throughout the entire power band.

Why We Choose HJS Catalytic Converters:
HJS German imported catalytic converters are made from some of the highest grade materials you can find in a catalytic converter. This yields high performance gains and longevity so it wont deteriorate over time like lower grade catalytic converters. These catalytic converters flow up to 93-95% of a straight pipe in most applications. The benefit is that you get the "straight pipe sound" while still being able to provide enough emissions scrubbing to prevent a check engine light.
