Starting with the original BWTS VTG Turbocharger as the base, the TTE750 5047 VTG turbochargers incorporate billet milled TTE compressor wheels with 6+6 blades and a 50mm inlet. These wheels are crafted from the latest high-strength aluminum, featuring extended tip technology that improves airflow while maintaining excellent spool characteristics.
The turbine wheels are enlarged and clipped to increase flow, delivering more power potential while maintaining responsiveness across a wide RPM range. The compressor housings and exhaust housings are machined with precision CNC milling to fit the new components, ensuring optimal performance and fitment.
Precision Balancing for Longevity and Efficiency
A critical aspect of the TTE750 5047 VTG turbochargers is their precise balancing. To achieve superior performance and longevity, all TTE turbochargers undergo a multi-step balancing process. Parts are initially balanced at slow speeds (up to 2800 RPM) in multiple planes using a single parts machine. After assembly, the CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) is dynamically balanced at speeds up to 250,000 RPM using the in-house VSR machine, ensuring perfect equilibrium that far exceeds OEM standards. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test result document for added peace of mind.
