The Eventuri Audi 8Y S3 / VW MK8 Golf R Black Carbon Intake System, eveEVE-EA8884-R-INT, represents a comprehensive redesign of the stock intake system, from the turbo inlet all the way to the engine. Inspired by our successful RS3 intake, this revolutionary system maximizes the utilization of available space to accommodate various power levels, ranging from stock configurations to high-power builds equipped with hybrid or full-frame turbos. With a relentless focus on performance, our engineers have developed this intake system to deliver the highest possible flow rate while ensuring the lowest intake temperatures.
Each component of the Eventuri intake system has been meticulously designed to provide the turbocharger with a smooth and unobstructed path. By replacing the restrictive 73mm diameter inlet tube with a significantly larger 94mm diameter tube, we have substantially improved the intake's capacity to deliver a higher volume of air. The filter itself boasts an outer diameter of 192mm (7.5 inches) and an impressive filtration surface area exceeding 110,000mm^2. This patented Venturi housing has been specifically crafted to optimize the internal volume within the limited space of the Golf engine bay, enabling laminar flow to the turbocharger tube. Furthermore, the included duct not only seals the filter opening to the front slam panel but also introduces an additional opening behind the hood, effectively creating an extra 7-inch diameter hole for the intake system to draw air from. The resulting setup significantly outperforms the stock airbox, providing exceptional airflow while maintaining minimal intake temperatures, thanks to its sealed design.
The Eventuri Audi 8Y S3 / VW MK8 Golf R Black Carbon Intake System kit includes the following components: a carbon fiber patented Venturi filter housing with a 94mm outlet, a bespoke high-flow dry cone filter, a full-width carbon fiber inlet duct, a silicon tube with a 94mm inlet diameter, a machined breather adapter (for Golf R models), a secondary breather filter and bracket (for USA spec Golf GTi), and laser-cut stainless steel brackets.
