For owners of S63TU Engine (A) equipped vehicles, it is important to note the recommended mapping options. The DINANTRONICS X offers a range of power levels (maps) from bypass/stock settings at map 0 to maximum power settings at map 7. The unit is shipped with map 5, a middle ground setting suitable for most vehicle/engine configurations. However, you have the flexibility to adjust the power levels up or down according to your specific needs and modifications.
Please note however that for each map level we highly recommend the minimum fuel octane rating to run listed below. If you sense any unusual or unexpected behavior immediately turn down the map to a lower setting that did not exhibit the condition.
