Unlike the stock charge pipe, which starts round at 1.75" and transitions to a rectangular shape before expanding to 2.25" close to the intercooler, the Evolution Racewerks S55 charge pipe maintains a consistent 2.25" diameter with smooth transitions throughout. This upgrade in design, combined with minimal restrictions, ensures optimal throttle response and minimal turbo lag, enhancing the overall driving experience.
For those interested in methanol or nitrous injection, the Evolution Racewerks M3/M4 charge pipe is equipped with 1/8" NPT bungs. Each pipe has one bung that can be used for either methanol injection or nitrous. This standard configuration caters to both users and non-users of methanol injection. The bungs are capped, allowing you to use the charge pipe with or without methanol injection. Additionally, you have the option to connect a boost gauge to the methanol bung for monitoring purposes. If you require additional bungs, simply leave a comment in the note section when placing your order.
Please note that if you have the Aquamist Methanol Injection Kit, the Aquamist injectors use an 8mmx0.75 thread pitch instead of the 1/8" NPT standard used by other brands. Not to worry! We have bungs specifically designed for the Aquamist, ensuring compatibility. Specify your need for Aquamist bungs during the ordering process. Kindly note that since this customization affects a small number of people, these bungs will be made to order and not regularly stocked. Additionally, please ensure you already have the Aquamist kit as we do not provide plugs for these bungs.
