Designed as a sealed system, it prevents the turbo from drawing in hot air from the engine bay. Additionally, the functional bonnet scoop forcefully directs ambient air into the intake duct. This duct boasts a larger internal volume compared to the stock version, while also drawing air from the stock location above the radiator. By combining a sealed system with an air scoop, our intake system achieves lower intake temperatures than the stock airbox, effectively preventing heat soak—a common issue, especially in higher-powered MINIs.
To ensure the smoothest airflow possible, we employ our Patented filter housing along with a CNC machined MAF tube. This meticulous design guarantees the smoothest flow to the turbo, resulting in optimal engine performance and responsiveness.
